Junior Property Claims Adjuster

Max Insurance is looking for an exceptional Junior Claims Adjuster to help drive excellence in the claims function for moderate to highly complex residential property claims. Responsibilities include: Investigate, evaluate, analyze, negotiate, and settle residential property claims; Review all relevant policy wordings and acts to determine coverage, damages, and liability; Maintain ongoing communication and status updates to customers until file closure; Determine appropriate settlement amount; Establish accurate claim and expense reserves. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 3 years of desk adjusting experience handling personal property claims, experience handling water damage claims, ability to handle low to medium complexity claims, experience with Xactimate estimates, and empathy for customers.
