Backend Engineer

You’ll work alongside a supportive, high-impact team of skilled backend developers to improve how other teams deploy and access their services, how we move data across our platform, and how we automate operations to enable future scale. Our backend engineering teams specialise in developing robust and scalable Go microservices, leveraging a tech stack that includes AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Kafka. Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. Contribute to the transition to microservices, designing APIs and event-driven architecture. Optimise database performance and data structures for high-traffic, real-time applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Mentor engineers, perform code-reviews and drive best practices in Golang.
