Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator

As a Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to coordinate the placement of students with externship sites. You'll oversee the process from the moment a student begins their externship journey through the end of their externship, ensuring all required documentation, scheduling, and communication is completed successfully. Manage externship placements by confirming site assignments, preparing placement paperwork, scheduling interviews (if required), and setting student start dates. Ensure student compliance with onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, Board of Pharmacy licenses, vaccinations, and externship paperwork. Act as the primary point of contact for students and externship sites, providing updates and addressing concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with externship sites by understanding their capacity, preferences, and onboarding processes. Maintain accurate records in internal dashboards, tracking student progress and site availability.
