Role Summary:
- Spring's Financial Counselors assists patients with treatment estimates
- Collaborates with external parties to ensure their financial coverage
- Educate the patients on their financial options
Responsibilities:
- Collecting estimated liabilities from patients and applying payments to patient accounts
- Communicate the financial status of the patient by analyzing and reviewing the patient’s accounts receivables
- Initiating prior authorization requests per insurance carrier requirements
Skills and Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 2 + years of experience in fertility or healthcare
- Flexible availability which may include working some weekends and holidays
