Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Signal Engineer to join our World Class Rail Team in our New York Metro Region. Daily duties include vital and non-vital processor programming, developing Control Lines and Route and Aspect Charts, and reviewing design plans and technical specifications. Must coordinate project designs with other disciplines and suppliers, review shop drawings, prepare construction estimates and engineering budgets.
Minimum requirements include a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 10 years of related experience in systems integration/engineering. Preferred qualifications include a Professional Engineering license (NY, NJ) and extensive experience with train control systems such as CBTC, PTC, ATS, ATP, and conventional block signaling systems. Experience managing signal projects from conceptual design through final commissioning is highly desirable.
