Lead Environmental Permitting and Licensing Consultant

As a member of Sargent & Lundy’s Environmental and Permitting team, you will utilize your academic background and experience to review, evaluate, and implement federal, state and local environmental regulatory requirements as they apply to a variety of electric power and industrial projects. This role involves using your knowledge of regulations and engineering principles to meet project team and client needs for defining, evaluating, and implementing environmental mitigation, compliance, and permitting projects. You'll review and implement regulatory requirements, prepare site-specific environmental impact studies, work with project engineers to ensure projects are designed considering environmental requirements, prepare permit applications, and write complex technical reports. You'll develop your career via peer-learning and knowledge sharing. The position offers the opportunity to travel to client offices and project site locations for project reviews, with some international travel potentially required.
