Oddball is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to contribute to a pivotal Federal program aimed at improving the daily lives of millions of Americans. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with fellow engineers, engaging in coding, test development, and debugging activities. The position requires providing insight into high-level architecture and coding decisions.
To succeed, candidates should have 5+ years of Python experience and familiarity with tools like Fast API, Async Django, and Starlet. A minimum of 3 years in an Agile software development environment, along with strong API design knowledge and backend systems understanding, is essential. AWS cloud experience with Fargate, Lambdas, and ECS is a plus. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and is a collaborative team player.
