The company is hiring a Backend Engineer to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on a program designed to modernize and centralize Medicare data into a secure, cloud-based platform. The engineer will work with a collaborative engineering team to design and develop robust API endpoints and services and support backend systems that drive critical health data applications.

As a Power Platform Engineer, the candidate will partner with business users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify operational needs and translate them into secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. He/she will design and build applications, workflows, dashboards, and data models using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to streamline processes, improve reporting, and integrate with existing CMS systems and third-party services.

The Full Stack Engineer will contribute to the Test User Portal, engage with other VA engineers to understand their needs, and facilitate communication across VA teams on technical matters. They will enhance the Test User Portal and implement developer experience improvements, aiming for fewer defects, less toil, increased testing confidence, and greater satisfaction. It is strongly preferred that the Full Stack Engineer will have experience in navigating and establishing governance.

We are hiring a Data Analytics Engineer to support the VA RISE program, a federal initiative focused on improving how the Department of Veterans Affairs collects, integrates, and leverages data to better serve veterans. In this role, you’ll work closely with analysts, engineers, architects, product owners, and federal stakeholders to extract insights from complex data sets, build data pipelines, and support scalable reporting systems.

As a Senior QA Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of an intelligent, automated solution that supports users through conversational interfaces; collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to build, maintain, and execute both manual and automated tests for a cloud-based platform.

As a Back End Engineer on the VA.gov Platform Team, you’ll work primarily in Ruby on Rails, building and maintaining secure backend services that support dynamic forms, submission workflows, and integration with VA systems. You’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including frontend developers, product managers, UX, and data engineers.
