Key Responsibilities:
- Define the target-state data architecture spanning operational stores and the analytical data lake.
- Design event-driven integration patterns for the Enterprise Data Layer using messaging and streaming.
- Establish data governance, quality, and secure access policies including ABAC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data lake and lakehouse architectures.
- Familiarity with Kafka, AWS services for streaming and governance.
- Knowledge of data mesh and product operating models.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 8 years with BS/BA in data architecture and engineering.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases and cloud platforms.
- Active Secret Clearance and local to Washington, DC Metro area.
