Business Intelligence and Analytics Engineer

As a Senior BI and Analytics Engineer at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team and share a passion for expanding access to therapy. You will help build best-in-class data tools that support growth in the insurance space, with a strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and working with sensitive healthcare data. You'll work closely with both technical and business stakeholders across the company to deliver scalable, trustworthy, and impactful data solutions that empower teams working on insurance-related initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and deliver training to cross-functional teams. Other tasks include delivering dashboards and ad-hoc analyses with a focus on payer data and health plan performance, collaborating with teams across the company to understand use cases involving insurance workflows and ensure data quality and compliance at every stage of the pipeline, with a focus on HIPAA-compliant practices. The candidate will also create reverse ETL flows to make modeled insurance-related data available directly in stakeholder tools and build robust DataOps pipelines and data expectations to ensure secure and reliable delivery of insurance data. You participate in teamwork, have fun, and take pride in building a product that helps people access care through trusted insurance partnerships.
