Senior Product Designer

In this role, you'll lead the mechanical and product design of robots that swim through granular environments, like grain, sand, and other granular media. These systems don’t just need to work: they need to be elegant, easy to assemble and service, and delightful to use. You’ll combine robust engineering with thoughtful product design to develop robots that are technically impressive, while also being physically compelling and user-centric. From internal mechanisms to exterior forms, you’ll own the design of hardware that feels purposeful and refined at every level. Design robotic systems with a strong emphasis on user experience, form, and function. Balance mechanical performance with simplicity, elegance, and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products that are intuitive to use, service, and maintain.
