This position supports our engineering and manufacturing teams by producing precise 2D technical drawings and 3D models for complex systems and components. The ideal candidate is proficient in SolidWorks, demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, and contributes actively to the design and documentation process.

This role primarily focuses on the mechanical reliability testing and improvements while having a strong supporting role in the other design stages. Day-to-day duties include test planning, execution and supporting the production of fleet hardware through a combination of root cause analysis, CAD design, drawing creation, testing and assisting in fleet deployment.

Generate detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation. Support prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Conduct thermal analysis on advanced two phase fluids, thermal and fluid management systems being developed for the aerospace and transportation industries. Preferred experience in cryogenics. Perform trade studies, develop design requirements, support attributes of piece parts design and support coordination of fabrication, assembly, and qualification of hardware.
