Job Description
Insurance Coverage:
- Discuss insurance coverage with patients.
- Explain financial obligations like coinsurance, copays, and deductibles.
- Provide balance estimates in a clear manner.
Financial Assistance:
- Identify and enroll eligible patients in copay assistance programs.
- Complete and manage applications through platforms.
- Work with payer/foundation portals.
Payment Management and Communication:
- Coordinate payment arrangements pre- and post-treatment.
- Accurately document all financial communications in systems.
- Collaborate with clinical and billing teams for a seamless patient experience.
