About the Role:
- We are looking for a Principal Data Engineer to build data infrastructure with velocity and precision.
- You will design pipelines, architect lakehouse solutions, and use modern AI tools to move faster.
Responsibilities:
- Implement lakehouse architecture using open-source technologies and optimize ClickHouse deployments.
- Build data models bridging Postgres and ClickHouse, and establish data quality frameworks.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools daily and write specifications before code.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in data engineering with deep ClickHouse and Postgres expertise.
- Experience with lakehouse patterns, ETL/ELT tools, streaming/batch frameworks, Python, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with data contracts, schema registries, and data mesh principles.
Compensation & Location:
- National base pay range: $180,000 USD annually.
- Remote eligible for candidates based in the United States.
