Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based Splunk environments for enterprise-level monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
- Execute new projects and data/user onboarding, and manage knowledge objects through automation and scripting.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and support off-hours incident investigations and system maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall cybersecurity experience with 5+ years specific to Splunk in large-scale environments.
- Proficiency in writing complex Splunk queries, dashboards, and alerts using SPL, and integration with REST APIs.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and PowerShell for automation and integration.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident, able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Must pass drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks, with no more than 6 months travel outside the US in the last 5 years.
- Experience with Splunk upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and cloud platform integration (AWS, GCP, Azure).
