Job Description
The Principal Scientist I or II - Synthetic Chemist will provide operational support and technical guidance for outsourced projects within Merck’s external CDMO partners to ensure the on time, high quality delivery of products and services. This position requires some flexibility to work remotely with Merck’s overseas partners in another time zone during off hours. The role involves preparing technical packages, issuing POs, processing invoices, ensuring fast shipping, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites. Prior experience in project management and vendor management is a plus for this role.
