Tech Lead, Embedded Platform

Role Overview:

• You own the entire platform layer: the operating system, firmware, streaming stack, and releases that reach every Airtame device in the field.
• You spend roughly 60% of your time on the hardest technical problems and 40% growing the engineers who work on them.
• You work from Copenhagen or remotely within Europe, with a cross-functional team that spans the continent.

Year One Outcomes:

• Take AirPlay and Miracast from beta to default, ensuring they are solid enough to ship on by default across the product line.
• Make firmware releases boring by establishing a predictable cadence, automated quality bar, and routine shipping.
• Turn the next board into a shipping Airtame by creating a repeatable path from bare silicon to a build QA can test.

Who You Are:

• You are a player-coach who sets technical direction and grows engineers, comfortable with a 60/40 split of hands-on work and people leadership.
• You are at home where software meets hardware: embedded Linux, kernel, BSP, C and C++, wireless stacks, and streaming protocols.
• You have experience shipping software to devices in the field, managing staged rollouts and over-the-air updates.
