Software Engineer

Design, build, and maintain APIs and backend services that support product functionality, scalability, and long-term reliability. Deliver features end to end by writing, testing, deploying, and monitoring code while applying strong observability practices. Work with core infrastructure components such as SQL databases, and leverage technologies like Kafka or Redis when useful. Collaborate with engineers across the team to refine existing systems and support the design of new features and solutions. Partner with senior engineers and tech leads to scope and understand project requirements. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and pair programming to support team development. Apply industry best practices to improve performance, efficiency, and maintainability of applications. Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data Science stakeholders to provide input on technical decisions and feature design. Contribute to evolving and upholding software engineering best practices.
