Senior Category Manager

As a Senior Category Manager, you will develop and maintain multi-year category strategies driving year-over-year value, while managing complex supplier relationships to enable portfolio strategies. You will also maintain ownership and communication for strategic sourcing activities to cross-functional teams. Conduct brainstorming sessions, provide oversight to sourcing managers, and collaborate with global teams to qualify strategic suppliers. Furthermore, you will drive spend analysis, assess process improvements, and lead the preparation of RFPs/RFQs. You will negotiate supplier contracts, analyze market conditions, and report on key metrics. The successful candidate will possess 5-10 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing, proven success in strategic procurement, and excellent knowledge of industrial markets, with up to 25% domestic and international travel.
