Senior Software Engineer, Search & Discovery

About the role:

• Matching experts with right opportunities is at the heart of the business, spanning search, discovery, recommendations, ranking, and ontology.
• Senior engineer will own this area of the stack with end-to-end ownership of surfacing and matching experts to customer needs.
• This is a backend-leaning, full-stack role with influence over architecture, product direction, and how to ship.

What you'll do:

• Own search, discovery, and recommendations end to end, from data and indices to relevance, ranking, and user-facing experience.
• Build and improve backend services and APIs for matching across knowledge graph.
• Turn fragmented, unstructured data into structured, searchable knowledge through ingestion and indexing pipelines.

What you bring:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals and comfort across the stack.
• Experience with search, discovery, recommendations, or data-intensive systems.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clean, scalable, well-tested solutions.
