What You'll Do:
- Lead and grow the Maps & Search team. Own hiring, coaching, 1:1s, and career development.
- Stay hands-on. Contribute directly — code and design reviews, architecture, thorny debugging.
- Own and scale a high-throughput search platform. Drive architecture, relevance, latency, reliability.
What We're Looking For:
- You lead from the front and treat management as a craft.
- You already build with AI daily and use it as a core part of your workflow.
- You think in systems and connect technical decisions to customer outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing teams.
- Search experience with relevance, ranking, or retrieval systems.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and cloud-native architectures.
