Staff Software Engineer, Backend - Education

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Education team, you will be building a learning platform used by administrators, teachers, and parents to support growth and development. In this role, you'll launch brand-new features and products that empower educators to plan and deliver engaging activities, track student development, and share progress with families. You will architect, refine, and scale backend systems, introducing new technologies and patterns to strengthen the architecture. You will also own and evolve brightwheel’s eCommerce systems and integrations. Collaborate across functions to ensure technology decisions align with business goals and customer needs. Contribute to technical direction for the team, leading by example with high-quality code and thoughtful reviews.
