Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of software components and subsystems in alignment with system requirements and architecture.
  • Develop and review code to implement new functionality and uphold software quality standards.
  • Perform complex system integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and software boundaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience in complex embedded systems.
  • Expert-level programming in C/C++, experience with Linux, Git/SVN, and Agile processes.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and low-power system development across multiple processor architectures.

Work Environment:

  • Typical remote office environment with discipline for autonomous work and flexible hours.
  • Must be able to work at a desk for extended periods and travel domestically up to 5% if remote.
