Job Description
Ameresco is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support energy efficiency and renewable energy construction projects (covering everything west of Mississippi, 50-75% travel). Responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and developing long-term safety improvement plans. The role also involves conducting safety audits, investigating incidents, reviewing subcontractor safety qualifications, and fostering a positive safety culture. This position requires maintaining safety certifications and conducting monthly safety meetings for project staff. Additionally the candidate will need 10+ years’ experience in Construction Safety Management and current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
