As a Senior Backend Engineer, your responsibilities include collaborating with product, DevOps, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver solutions for complex problems, implementing features from proposal through design and implementation to maintenance, writing clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices, and improving the health of the codebase. The team dedicates one day per week to housekeeping and plans and discusses the upcoming work, providing feedback to each other to identify challenges and unknowns early.
