Job Description
As a Staff Front End Software Engineer at Topstep, you’ll play a foundational role in guiding how we design, build, and evolve the systems that power our trader experience. You’ll work at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and product strategy, leading cross-team efforts, defining long-term engineering patterns, and helping elevate the quality of both our code and our culture.
Partner with Product Managers and designers to architect intuitive, responsive trading interfaces. Lead frontend development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team. Develop and maintain scalable React component libraries and design systems. Work closely with our backend team to design efficient GraphQL integrations. Drive performance optimization initiatives because every millisecond counts in trading. Champion best practices in frontend development and establish UI/UX standards.
Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions. Help shape the technical roadmap and future of how traders interact with financial markets.
