New Product Manager

Being a Product Manager at Defense Unicorns is more than just being part of the sparkliest Product team in defense tech, it means taking radical ownership over real products that make a real impact on real people. At Defense Unicorns, the mission is to make software a strategic deterrent, and the Product Management team clears the path. In this role, you’ll report to the Director of Product and work with two teams who deliver closely linked, yet diverse outcomes. One supports a popular and foundational open source tool, and the other manages cloud-scale infrastructure and creates tooling to make it easy for Defense Unicorns’ supported missions to consume it. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise. Responsibilities includes passion for the intersection of business, open-source software, and national security, comfortable owning a product vision end-to-end, managing expectations and delivery of engineers’ outcomes, establishing and communicating vision and objectives, balancing priorities, and synthesizing customer requests into an internal product roadmap. Continuous learning is a must.
