Linguistic tasks:
- Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, meeting the provided standards.
- Creative writing of marketing content to engage customers and proofreading storefront descriptions.
- Performing translations as needed and reviewing tasks to report patterns for improving database and product performance.
Quality management planning and execution:
- Monitoring overall linguistic quality and planning for the account in collaboration with the Welocalize Quality Department.
- Defining quality expectations per language, performing root cause analysis, and designing corrective actions.
- Ensuring language-level quality oversight by KPI tracking, status reporting, and driving arbitration processes.
Client engagement and team coordination:
- Joining calls with client linguistic teams to discuss quality, strategy, and clarify requirements, taking the lead on linguistic issues.
- Acting as liaison between the client and the broader Welocalize linguistic team, ensuring client feedback is implemented.
- Reviewing and giving feedback to linguists, guiding them in identifying root causes and determining actions for improvement.
