Senior Proposal Manager

Take full ownership of the proposal lifecycle (RFP to submission). Write major proposal sections, edit team inputs, and integrate color team feedback. Gather information from team subject-matter experts to develop, organize, and edit technical proposal content. Communicate proposal-related requirements and status with senior leadership. Assess and identify opportunities to incorporate best practices and improve the internal proposal management process. Support internal bid decision conversations and assist with the analysis of proposal opportunities. Requirements include 10+ years of proven success managing federal proposals. Proven ability to take complex technical topics and simplify them into digestible material. Understanding of managing and writing proposals using the Shipley processes. Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to adapt to various people and working styles under tight deadlines. Comfortable working independently within a team environment. Experience writing proposals for a defense-focused small business (preferred). Experience as a technical writer (preferred).
