DevOps Engineer SR

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sagent, you’ll play a key role in supporting and evolving our DevOps practices across Azure and, over time, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP). You’ll work hands-on to deploy infrastructure, automated processes, and support critical workloads – including a specialized focus on Sterling File Gateway (SFG), where you’ll collaborate closely with IT to ensure ongoing reliability and performance for secure file transfer systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into complex systems, improving operational efficiency, and working across engineering and IT teams to support secure, high-volume data delivery at scale. Your day-to-day includes deploying and maintaining infrastructure in Azure using Kubernetes and Terraform to support reliable and scalable environments, managing AKS clusters and workloads, troubleshooting issues, and supporting configuration and performance tuning. You will also support and maintain Sterling File Gateway (SFG), partnering closely with the IT team during the transition to in-house management. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, developing scripts and tools to automate manual tasks, improving deployment pipelines, and streamlining infrastructure operations. You will implement and refine CI/CD pipelines to support fast, stable software delivery. You will also work with Engineering, Product, IT, and Security teams to support application delivery and infrastructure planning.
