Job Description
The Sr. SQL Data DBA, participates in the design, development, implementation, review, and monitoring of all on-premises and cloud database environments. The Sr. SQL Data DBA will work closely with the Software Development, Data Engineering, and QA teams to ensure that each team has the resources needed to run efficiently and effectively and to provide guidelines and recommendations on best practices in the field.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring database servers across environments, ensuring High Availability and meeting SLAs, reviewing and auditing environments for security, assisting in TSQL development and support of SQL CI/CD life cycle, and assisting developers in best practices for writing queries / procedures.
