About the Role:
- Drive U.S. federal and state income tax compliance for 27k+ funds using AngelList's technology platform.
- Work at the intersection of tax, fund accounting, and product to help tax workflows scale.
What You'll Do:
- Identify filing requirements and prepare tax returns, including extension and amended returns.
- Analyze transactions with tax reporting implications, such as installment sales, QSBS, and SAFEs.
- Test proprietary systems and identify process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, tax, or fund administration.
- Working knowledge of federal and state tax concepts, with interest in partnership taxation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
