Director, Clinical Analytics

The Director, Clinical Analytics is a leadership role within Clinical Analytics and is responsible for driving vision, strategy, talent management and operations delivery. Identifies new capabilities and opportunities to drive analytics innovation and value creation. Fosters a culture of experimentation to enable data-driven insights for complex business problems. Influences cross-functional leaders to unleash the full potential of data and advanced analytics techniques like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Develops strategies in anticipation for future Clinical Development and R&D needs. Manages line-level people managers and senior data scientists to execute on the Clinical Analytics strategy; Responsible for coaching, mentoring and performance management of direct reports, as well as talent development in alignment with DSS strategy and R&D business needs. Deploy next generation technology and process to enable enterprise data analytics on pace with emerging integrated data sources. Influence AbbVie’s enterprise data governance as a steward of clinical trials data. Fosters innovation and entrepreneurial culture within the team that attracts and retains top talent; creates an environment of continuous learning. Stays abreast of new trends across the external technology and analytics environment.
