Job Description
eScribers is looking for stenographic court reporters to join our team as contractors. Candidates must have training or relevant experience as a steno reporter to apply for this position. We are a nationwide court reporting and transcription company with a need for reporters to appear in-person for hearings in Buffalo, NY and surrounding areas; remote work is also available.
General requirements include providing necessary certification credentials or proof of successful completion of an accredited court reporting program, being legally eligible to work in the United States, maintaining a high degree of professionalism, meeting all deadlines, having a high-speed internet connection, reliable mode of transportation, and a current U.S. bank account for direct deposit.
As an independent contractor, you will be compensated on a per-project/assignment basis, including a daily appearance fee, transcription fees, and travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary. Weekly pay is provided via direct deposit. Priority for work is given to applicants who maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of their assignments.
