About the Role:
- Turn hands-on quality workflows into reliable internal products.
- Bring the most useful capabilities into HUD's production platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build full-stack tools for task review, trajectory inspection, and grader checks.
- Design dashboards, backend services, and data workflows for quality metrics.
- Investigate live workflow issues and prevent repeat failures.
Experience:
- Strong fundamentals in Python and a modern web stack like TypeScript and React.
- Built internal or user-facing products end-to-end.
- Comfort working with research teams to understand tool usage.

HUD
HUD builds infrastructure to create RL training data and evals for frontier AI agents, as well as a marketplace to sell these to frontier labs. The team is ~25 people, mostly full-time in-person but some remote, with backing from top VCs and YC W25.
