Job Description
The ideal candidate combines software development expertise, systems modeling experience, and familiarity with the space/defense domain. The Model and Simulation Engineer II will collaborate with engineers and operators to design, test, and refine models that directly support mission planning and decision-making. Daily tasking includes developing and integrating digital twin models of space platforms, ground systems, and mission workflows. Furthermore, you will be running simulations and delivering insights for mission planning and decision-making. You will also analyze system performance, run scenario-based simulations, and provide insights for mission planning. Document model architectures, assumptions, and results for technical and non-technical audiences.
