The Mission Systems and Weapons Integration Engineer integrates weapons, pylons, and mission equipment into the aircraft while ensuring safe separation and standards compliance. Requires expertise in Open Mission Systems (OMS) and the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), including service definition and command-and-control message structures. Integrates legacy standards such as MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-1553, and the Universal Armament Interface (UAI) with OMS/UCI-compliant mission software.
Develop simulation models, sim framework, and tools in support of project needs. Manage customer requests involving simulation capabilities and also drive the integration of external simulation tools. Maintain a simulation framework and related models to support development and evaluation of concepts and prototypes.
You will join a highly innovative simulation initiative focused on building next-generation digital twins and virtual modeling technology for industrial systems. The project develops advanced tools that combine physics-based simulation, geometry processing, and high-performance computing — enabling companies to model, predict, and optimize the behavior of complex machines. Your work will directly contribute to a simulation engine that bridges mechanical engineering, computational science, and modern software development.
This role provides a unique opportunity to lead advanced system integration and verification efforts in a high-tech engineering environment. As a Principal Engineer, you will develop and validate virtual testbeds, build complex simulations, and ensure seamless system interoperability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system behavior, identify design issues, and implement model-based solutions using cutting-edge tools.
