Responsibilities:

  • Interact with local team from floor level to Plant Manager to General Manager and beyond.
  • Assess and develop local talent, coaching them on techniques, tools and high ethical mindset necessary to build and maintain strong EHS systems.
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable local, region and federal EHS regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related Science field is highly desired.In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, >10 years experience within EHS function will be considered.
  • With a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, a minimum 5 years’ experience in EHS function within a Manufacturing, Facilities Management and/or Research Laboratory setting with direct responsibility for EHS activity and experience with Regulatory Agency interactions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at various facilities – experience with capital project experience

Additional:

  • Some work will be performed in typical office, warehouse and Manufacturing plant environment.
  • Position may occasionally require moderate physical work and wearing of personal protective equipment necessary for auditing and/or risk assessment/characterization work at manufacturing locations.
  • Preference for applicable EHS related professional certifications
