Back-end Engineer

We're seeking a Back-end Engineer to join our app product team, contributing to the development and maintenance of the Winona product's backend codebase and integrations. In this role, you will be key in the rapid adaptation of our product team systems, supporting internal stakeholders like physicians and customer support. You will ensure the reliability and scalability of our telehealth platform through the implementation of new features and the maintenance of key systems. Responsibilities include building and improving backend services and APIs, implementing integrations (particularly with Stripe), designing and optimizing backend systems, ensuring robust security mechanisms to protect patient data, troubleshooting backend issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and providing backend support during U.S. business hours.
