Senior Cloud Engineer I (Information Technology)

Role Overview:

• Work independently and collaboratively with Software Engineering and Sales Engineering to design and implement cloud systems.
• Contribute to moderately complex projects and deliver assigned cloud components while seeking guidance on broader architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Inductive Automation's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Develop and modify scalable architecture on IaaS and PaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and CloudFormation, and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes and AWS Fargate.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on AWS, Linux/Unix, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with container orchestration on EKS, ECS, and Fargate, plus monitoring tools like DataDog, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
