Intermediate Backend Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, test, and deliver backend features and improvements with minimal guidance.
• Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle, from clarifying requirements to deployment and production follow-up.
• Build secure, maintainable, observable, and high-performing backend services and APIs.

Requirements:

• Professional experience developing and shipping production backend applications with strong fundamentals in programming, APIs, databases, and testing.
• Experience with Ruby/Rails, Go, or another modern backend language, with ability to adapt across technologies.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote asynchronous environment.
