The Role:
- The Senior Accounting & Finance Data Analyst is the analytics owner for Tala's accounting and finance reporting function across all markets.
- This role requires correctness and traceability because outputs feed statutory filings and Big-4 audits.
What You'll Do:
- Own the queries and data logic behind monthly close, tax, and regulatory reporting across all markets.
- Ensure every report is traceable end-to-end and documented to an audit-ready standard.
- Partner with Analytics Engineering to migrate reporting onto governed, version-controlled infrastructure.
What You'll Need:
- 4–6 years in data/analytics roles with substantial experience in financial or accounting reporting.
- Expert SQL and fluency with Snowflake; experience with external auditors and multi-market regulatory reporting.
- Mindset focused on standardization, scalability, and continuous process improvement.
