Position Summary:
- Develop features and components at the foundation level of our appliances and cloud offerings.
- Design and build fundamental tools and structures to enable creation of world-class security applications.
- Develop, support, and secure the operating system, kernel, drivers, installation/upgrade process, and administrative and connectivity features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard for the team in code reviews.
- Design and own development of features, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership to junior team members and leverage design and mentorship experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years working experience designing and implementing backend infrastructure components.
- Fluent in back-end languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or C/C++.
- Experience with CPU, network, or storage performance analysis and tuning on Linux.
