Electronic Design Lead

SkyGrid is seeking an Electronic Design Lead to oversee all electronic hardware aspects of the Strata program. The role involves leading the hardware team, ensuring compliance with company performance requirements and regulatory standards, and collaborating with other hardware engineers by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and feedback. Responsibilities include generating hardware drawings, developing component-level requirement specifications, planning for electronic hardware certification, and supporting peer reviews for system requirements, software engineering, cybersecurity, and safety deliverables. The lead will manage a team of electronic hardware engineers, review and approve designs, direct and review electronic hardware requirements validation activities, establish best practices for system design and verification, and monitor supplier performance. The candidate should have a B.S. in Engineering/STEM with 10+ years of experience, leadership experience in electronic hardware development, experience with Visio and RTCA DO-254 standards, and strong communication skills.
