Ignition SCADA Engineer (MES Consultant)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Ignition SCADA and MES applications to enhance manufacturing efficiency and visibility.
• Interface MES with platforms like FactoryTalk and Siemens WINCC for seamless data integration and flow.
• Work directly with customers to understand business needs and deliver customized automation solutions.

Project Execution & Support:

• Contribute to all software development lifecycle phases, including design, testing, deployment, and support.
• Diagnose and resolve SCADA/MES technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Develop scripts and applications using C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, or Python to extend functionality.

Qualifications & Environment:

• Proven experience in SCADA/MES development with Ignition and knowledge of industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages and ability to work independently in a remote setting with up to 30% travel.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
