Principal Concept Artist

Responsibilities:

• Define the project's visual direction and establish and maintain concept art quality standards.
• Lead the overall visual development of characters, environments, props, etc., and give shape to the art direction.
• Explore visual directions from early ideation and establish the project's visual language.

Collaboration and Mentorship:

• Collaborate with Art Directors, Design, and 3D teams to ensure concepts are realized in final output.
• Review work from team members and outsource artists, providing clear feedback.
• Build and maintain style guides and visual references, quickly presenting alternatives when direction shifts.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of game development experience with at least 1 shipped game.
• Portfolio showcasing photorealistic, high-quality character or environment concept art.
• Professional fluency in English and Korean, plus ability to work during Pacific Time zone business hours.
