Director, Data Engineering (Google Cloud Platform)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and execute the technical vision for the GCP Data Engineering practice, setting standards for data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and lakehouse architectures.
• Oversee end-to-end design and deployment of enterprise data platforms using core Google Cloud services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage.
• Partner with Data Science to design production-grade data pipelines for GenAI, including vector search and RAG frameworks powered by Vertex AI.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years in data engineering with 5+ years managing agile engineering teams.
• Deep GCP expertise with hands-on experience in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, plus experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and enterprise data governance.
