Software Engineer (III/Sr), Infrastructure

You will work with your team on the software all ngrok engineers use to build, deploy, and manage our product. You will approach SRE and DevOps concerns with the mindset and tools of a software engineer. You should understand running production services with load and latency concerns. Engineers use tools including Go, PostgreSQL, nix, gRPC, Terraform, and more, all in a monorepo driven by code generation. Within 6 months, you'll own engineering improvements to the platform and builder tools, taking responsibility for uptime with on-call rotation. You'll also contribute to team growth through interviewing and mentorship. Within a year, you'll help ngrok by raising the level of fellow engineers through pairing, documentation, and open-source contributions. You will also plan long-term investments in capabilities and operability.
