Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated senior hard surface artist to join the Subnautica 2 team. Ideal candidates will possess expert level modeling, materials and texturing skills and have a passion for creating vehicle and structural environment assets in a science fiction universe. This is a remote position on a globally distributed team.
Responsibilities include developing functional high-quality 3D vehicle and structural assets from 2D concept art, developing material and shader workflows and apply those to 3D assets, collaborating closely across disciplines to create hard surface assets with multiple moving parts and interactive elements, ensuring art assets meet gameplay requirements as defined by the team and working with art leadership on the project to ensure art assets adhere to aesthetic and technical requirements.
