Senior Manager, Brokerage Finance

As Senior Manager, Brokerage Finance you will be a strategic, cross-functional translator who will serve as the critical link between product innovation and our core financial and regulatory obligations. You will be a key partner to our engineering, operations, and finance teams, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable system and process designs to enable efficient and compliant product launches. This role will embed regulatory discipline and financial integrity directly into our engineering and operational DNA, ensuring that our books and records systems are robust, compliant, and meet the needs of many. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: Guide Brokerage Financial Systems: Collaborate with our engineering team to define and articulate the financial requirements for Wealthsimple's brokerage books and records system. Enable New Product Launches: Act as the key financial and regulatory liaison during the product development lifecycle. Own Regulatory Reporting: Serve as the subject matter expert and primary owner of all regulatory reporting. Support Month End Reporting: Step in when needed to help complete month end processes.
